The Rocky Horror Show: Touch Me! |
UK 2016 Rocket Lolly Games. The Rocky Horror Show: Touch Me! (Pre-Alpha Version)
Notes: An all-new game unrelated to previous Rocky Horror game releases bringing a unique take on the rhythm action dancing game genre. Developed by Rocket Lolly Games in collaboration with Andy Leighton, (music producer of The Rocky Horror Show since it began in the 70’s), The Rocky Horror Show Touch Me game was scheduled to be released on mobile and tablet platforms in 2017. US$40,000 was raised from pledges on Kickstarter with backers receiving various Rocky Horror merchandise as different level incentives. Game bugs and programming issues caused on-going delays, however, to help generate buzz in the project, a soft-launch party was held on June 6, 2017. The game ultimately failed to receive a commercial release; however, the beta version was sent to backers. |
